1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Zari mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Zari is a personal finance tracking application that reads bank transaction alert emails from your connected email account (Gmail or Outlook) to automatically extract, categorize, and display your spending data. The App processes email data on your device and provides spending summaries, category breakdowns, and financial insights.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Zari. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the App.

4. Account and Email Access

To use Zari, you must connect a Gmail or Microsoft Outlook email account via OAuth 2.0. By connecting your email, you authorize Zari to access your email in read-only mode as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account and device.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we access, use, and protect your email and transaction data. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Accuracy of Information

Zari extracts transaction data from bank alert emails using automated pattern matching. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all transactions will be correctly identified, categorized, or displayed. Zari is a personal tracking tool and should not be relied upon as the sole record of your financial transactions. Always refer to your bank's official records for authoritative transaction information.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by Zari and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZARI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. ZARI IS A SPENDING TRACKER, NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISOR. DO NOT MAKE FINANCIAL DECISIONS BASED SOLELY ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE APP.

11. Third-Party Services

Zari integrates with Google (Gmail API) and Microsoft (Microsoft Graph API) for email access. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Zari is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Microsoft.

12. Termination

You may stop using Zari at any time by disconnecting your email account (in Settings), revoking access via your Google or Microsoft account settings, and deleting the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, for any reason.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App. Your continued use of the App after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zari operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
